First time I red about the glorious event of DoubtingThomas having the audacity to want to touch Christ's wounds totally stroke me. Perhaps Thomas was also sceptical because he was scared of more people to joke with his grief over his Crucified teacher Jesus. Thomas was thinking in a very human way he probably thought something like "Christ was on the Calvary people saw him dying, he is dead that's it now what left to me is grief over my beloved teacher Jesus's memory". He didn't put the possibility that someone in flesh could raise up over death and his unbelieving human nature was triumphant. The Lord Jesus obviously knew his thoughts and his doubting heart and that's why once he entered the room where all the desciples were gathered, first time who we call was disbelieving Thomas.". This meeting obviously strengthened Thomas faith and make him one of the most zealous preachers of Resurrected Christ. Having evidenced the resurrected Christ so much strengthened St. Thomas faith that he become Apostle preaching in India part of the world with most paganism and belief in various ungodly teachings …
