Tuesday, November 21st, 2006 I’ve decided to use my blog in the end. The Last week we were with Habib for some time. He is a nice company we speaked about his Grand Father who did some miracles through the power of 2 Gins.
A lot of people with various diseases were cured with the help of 2 Jins he has power over. P.S. In the Quran Jins are spirits created from fire after God created the Angels due to the quran Jins are spirits which are with free will just like us humans and they could go for good or bad,
From Christian perspective so far as I’m Christian the Christians think Jins for Demons but are they Demons or not only God knows, because his Grand Father did a lot of nice things for the people was praying and fasting a lot and was trying to love everybody, well he was a muslim but I guess God can save everybody through Christ Jesus in his own way.
Then We talked about what the bible the life. Habib explained something very interesting of what the muslim myth says about why people do cough. Myth says that when God created in the beginning everything he put (soul/spirit) when breading to the body of soil, before that the soul was happily living with God in Heaven and the soul is not being conforted by living in a dying body because you know it can hurt, you feel cold stuff like that, so often when a born to human being is being given an Angel from God comes and puts the soul in the body through the nose then locks the entrance to be sure the soul won’t try to go out, and because the soul tries to get out we cough :]].
In Friday night or the Saturdays I can’t exactly we went to mino with Mitko we saw Gosho/Geni there he was drunk this time he did not repeat “on my head” like a parrot, this time the saying was “baba yaga”;]. I’m thinking again about stopping the cigars but we’ll see.
Yesterday I was in Mitko and we was able to run WarCraft 3 under GNU/Linux Fedora Core 6. His brother was extraordinary happy he will be able to play WC3 :]. During the day there was tons of work for me. There were problems with one of our mail servers mail.design.bg.
One of the ValueWeb’s Caching DNSes was down the other was resolving hosts awfully slow. So I read some about djbdns as a caching DNS and installed it on two of the servers on (backup-serv1.design.bg and backup-server2.design.bg). then switched all the NSes our servers in USA use to my new djb caching dnses, I was amazed djbdns is really a nice bit of soft it’s really a fast caching NS. I use it for first time and I really like it from the beginning. I experienced some problems before starting daemontools properly on two of the machines because of the errorno-patch that redhats and fedoras should apply to compile successfully daemontools. I thought our problems with the mail server was mainly because of the slow DNS resolves, but after setting up the new djbdns and configured all the servers to use them still the response of the mail server when there are connects to port 25 was very slow. I was able to isolate the problem in the evening I spoke with a guy (greycat) in irc.freenode.net in #qmail. About my problem and he pointed me to the RBLs I use at my qmail-smtpd run. So using the method of exclusion. Removing all the RBLs and started putting them one by one I discovered one of the RBL Hosts I used was lagging dnsbl.antispam.or.id (maybe due to slow DNS resolves). If you’re using it my advice is not to. When Removed it from my run file all started working perfectly. The last days I’m doing a lot of stuff around the qmail. I loaded some custom spam rules from SARE (SA Rules Emposium) to reduce spam and wrote some my own custom rules due to the spam I receive in my Mailbox.
More and more I realize how hard is to be a good mail server administrator. Oh yes I almost forgot I ran my own qmailmrtg two days ago it graphs nicely lot of very precious info about the mail server’s load, queue, pop3 concurrency etc. etc. and I also ran qsstats nice qmail-scanner statistics grapher program. Because of all the work I missed shool yesterday. I need to read now about this business plan and know more about it I can’t even imagine how I’ll graduate ever :].

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007 It was really steressing day. All started with a lot of calls to NetInfo’s Office then to our Office in Varna to explain what is happening to one of our servers design-bg.net. In the end after 2 hours of stress and even more everything come on it’s place Praise the LORD for this he helped me. Right after design-bg.net was up mail.design.bg almost freeze with God’s help everything came to normal after a simple reboot. In 12:00 to 12:40 I drunk coffee with some friends, after that spent some time in the library. In 14:15 the management test seemed to be in a small room and I was able to copy stuff from my collegues on the test:] Yeash CopyCat :]. Mitko and Habib was my guests today and we ate spinach’s soup with green salad and plant yellow cheese. Thanks to the Lord for being merciful over my sins. Yesterday I got drunk I drunk 200 gr. of ROM and 1 beer. After that I went home singing and listening to Metallica’s songs simultaneously, there was odd movement red eyes and head banging for almost an hour :]. I spend so many things for absolutely useless things, I am ashamed of myself. I acted like an animal. I really wonder why the world still exists If it’s such an awful place to be. I really doubt about the meaning of my life. Things seems to go in a bad way for me and a lot of ppl around me. I really hope the Lord will interfere and everything will come to place but who knows the Paths the Creator has created for us? END—–

Monday, June 25th, 2007 My day started at 10:00 when a man called and asked is his Windows preinstalled and I pointed him to call to Nomen because his computer was in Nomen. Later I met Nomen and we have a walk in the central park. Then we went to see Jivko the Beggar. Hel told us a story how a skinhead started throwing stones at him for no reason … A sort of protestant Christian came and started telling me very messed things about Christ his new life etc. etc. I told him that I would send him to a hospital If I had the power :]. After that I met Lily and we walked for sometime together on my way to my uncle. I tried to read/explain him The New Testament “The Gospel of Mark”. But every time I started telling him how Christ has paid the price for us with his Holy Blood, and how He exchanged his rightfulness for our unrightfulness he started to get sleepy (strange). After that we had a great dinner together, I decided to stay for the dinner just because I wanted to suggest them to pray before eating, we prayed together with “The Lord’s Prayer”. After that I decided to walk to Mino’s coffee and I drinked a beer there with Ceco and Dido. After that I went home and spend some time reading posts on the “http://whygodwonthealamputees.com”. This forums are addictive but seems that are disturbing for my spiritual health, so I should to visit this place. I read some Christians on the Topic some of them were interesting it’s seems St. Anthony healed amputees so someday It’s vital to read about the Living of this Saint. The day passed comparingly untroublful for which I may only give a thanks to God :]. Few times during the day I hhave lost the point of where my life is going to and I doubt about my faith and Christ as a Saviour and the meaning of life, but it’s unescapable it’s the devil work to put lies into my head in the end :].END—–

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007 I spend the Friday night and The Saturday on a place near The Tiulenovo’sVillage. It’s beautiful there. There was a lot of waves. I spend a great time,and get a little wanting to live again and inspired. It was sad that mostof the people was there to drink and smoke as much as I can. I tried to learnto catch fish. There was a lot of wind the whole night and day. There wasnot enough woods for the fire, it was coldy experience when the firewood ended in 5:20 in the morning luckily the sun has risen 20 or 30 minutes later. In the morning we have a wonderful talk with Toto :]. In the morning Toto, Nomen and Zuio went to Shabla to find some woods for the next night. After a lot of searching at last we found some used wood with nails on it, we also collected some from a small wood belt, we take some food from one of the local shops, we drinked a coffee at the morning, later we left Mitko on the Bus Station, cause he had to be home until dinner. After that I had a bath in a place near rocks which everybody was calling “Djakuzi”, I really enjoyed the bath I haven’t taken a Sea bath for Seven years, also I haven’t exposed to a direct sun light my body for so much a hours from 7 years, so I got a sun burns without realising later I slept 2 hours at the Tent cause I was completely exhaused I haven’t slept for almost 2 days. When I wake up 2 hours later at the tent I was red like a tomato :], and it was hurting. In almost 22 o’clock I and Dido (The Head), have hit the road back to Dobrich. Unfortunately cops have catched him to drive with 70 km in a village where there was a speed limit of 50 and they would give him a sanction (At least they haven’t tested him for alcohol if they Did then it was sure that he was going to lost his driver license cause he have drinked a lot during the day). Happily this didn’t Happen Praise the Lord! :]. If I expel all the non-sense talking and swearings and all the alcohol that was drunk then it was a great experience. I used to thing that a man can feel God’s presence in such a wild and desolate places much stronger, also the inspiration gives you hope to continue no matter how bad things are. On the other side the last days I have lost faith and hope and even a sort of blaspehemed a little claiming to be an atheist, but the truth is I can’t after I’ve experienced the Eternal one’s love. And I’m trying to come back in repentance being sorry for all this. Today I woke up in 9:35 in the morning (a call from the office). There was a new employee and I have to setup him account to the Samba server and make him a mail account. *Luckily* :] My internet connectivity was missing, so I went to the college to use internet and see Ertan (The College’s Admin). After I have setupped the account and mail and did some usual system maintaince on the servers I hepled ertan to setup a laptop of a new English teacher who was previously in Australia and now is back to Bulgaria. We have setupped Debian Etch + Beryl +mplayer+ audacious + xmms … wine, gimp, office, etc, etc. In the evening we have drink a coffee with Mitko and later we went to his home Plamen (The Guitarist) has come and we went my home while Nomen and Sami went out to see each other, I had a great time with Plamenko (this guy’s a really interesting!), it’s a real blessing to know him :] END—–

Friday, March 28th, 2008 I stand up in the morning at somewhere around 09:30. I made my physical excersises everyday. What I have to say that I’m trying to fast. You know it’s the orthodox fasting period. Orthodox Eastern has to be on 27 may if I’m not mistaken. In the morning we had Marketing II classes with a teacher called Stanislav. Nobody has a homework and only three of us entered the classes so the teacher was furious. After that we had lectures with Ruelof on the topic of Marketing Research. I had not much job from work. Our project manager said that they are going to give me a phone so they can reach me cheaper and easier. We have to had some English classes just after the Marketing Planning lectures but the teacher Valio said we won’t have it because he has some job to do. After the school I worked on the servers. Servers and stuff works just fine thanks to God. Unfortunately my health issues continue on and on. I’m starting to loose temper I try to pray for a little every night before I go to bed and every evening. I still hope God would hear me and heal me. Ahm what else in the evening I went to the 2nd hand furniture shop of my cousin Zlatina and her husband Ivailo I spend a little less than an hour there. After that I went to Yasho a colleague 1st year (A metal head and brother of one of my class mates) and we watched Dr. Strangelove together Or How I learned to stop worrying and drop the bomb. I really enjoy this Kubrick film :). That’s most of the day. I figure out that one of the qmail chkuser’s patch wasn’t working properly on one of the servers and I did some tweaks to make it work. Also I’m reading a little book on MySQL although I almost doesn’t have time to read it. Well that’s it Let’s call it a day.END—–

Sunday, June 15th, 2008 At Saturday I had my first driving license. The instructor let me drive on the road for Balchik. Happily the driving went smoothly of course I made a lot of mistakes which is pretty normal for a first time driving. In the afternoon we went out for a walk with Niki. We just went out when Vlado (Hellpain) called, he came back to Dobrich for a day, we met for a coffee after which we stayed for 2 hours in the central park. Today as usual I attended the liturgy at the orthodox Church. Today it’s a big Christian Orthodox holiday, it’s the day in which the Our Lord Jesus Christ send the Holy Spirit to the early Church fathers (the apostles). The apostles heard a great noise and they see the Holy Spirit descending from heaven in a form of burning tongues, each tongue coming above the head of each of the apostles and the rest of the first believers in our Lord and Saviour Jesus. I’m still in doubt should I decide to go or not to the Netherlands. I applied for a room there through http://vivare.nl yesterday. But still haven’t received a confirmation for approval and I haven’t send a deposit for a room. I made research about the Arnhem Business School (ABS) and talked and I’m talking with a friend who went to study in Holland the last year. In the afternoon I watched an old russian movie which is marked as a SCI-FI genre (Kin Dza Dza), I got the title from the top 20 in IMDB. Yeah I can say that the movie was pretty freaky :). Vladi did call me again and said one of the servers in the office had crashed I spoke with of my colleagues with a request to go to the office and restart the box but it seems the box isn’t booting. Tomorrow I’ll catch an early bus for Varna and went to the office to see what’s wrong with the machine (hope it’s not a serious hardware problem). That’s most of it. To be honest although God grants me a lot of his divine grace I still feel a bit of lost and pathless and struggle to fight my lack of faith, and bad habits. I’m praying everyday for a physical healing but I still haven’t completely recovered from my sickness. I have sinned badly in my past and I deserve to have that sickness but still I honestly I’m repenting day after day for my bad life in the past and the near present … Another think I should say is that a friend of mine has died I saw his obituary hanging on a tree 🙁 , His name was Alexander (Sashe) known among us by the nickname (Saketo), he was a drug addict and that killed him I hope he is with God know peace be upon him. Friday, September 23rd, 2011 I’m trying to get the most of server + wordpress performance and these days I’m heavily playing with it as one can read from my past few articles 😉
Today I’ve come across three other plugins which in many cases could be beneficial and bring a good performance increase in wordpress, this are:
- WP-Minify – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-minify/
- HeadJS Loader – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/headjs-loader/
- Scripts Gzip – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/scripts-gzip/
WP-Minify – does combine all JS and CSS script into one consolidated compressed script or style as well removes any duplicate script resources and hence could have positive impact on performance
HeadJS Loader – does strips out all your old javascript declarations and puts them into one head.js file so that they are loaded in parallel in the head of the pages and through that prevents the blocking of load up until all JS is a loaded so commonly seen these days on the net for more info on how HeadJS works check out http://headjs.com
Script Gzip – merges and compresses the CSS and JS links on page, the plugin does not have caching functionality. The plugin doesn’t have much configuration options which I find as a good thing
To find out what works best for you its a best practice if the website speed load time is tested after loading each of the plugins and with all of them enabled and configured, finally for best results just leave only the plugins or a combination of them which gives the lowest page responce times.
