well..
my laptop (2013) is getting so hot that after a while i get artifacts on the screen… but my fan never goes fullspeed.
after disabeling acpi (centos7) my fan is going fullspeed at times when it is getting hot.
downside is that the fan makes a lot of noise but upside is that i dont have to shut down my laptop to let it cool off.
