    It is possible and also recommended to also test the certificate after import to test it:

    keytool -list -keystore /webservices/java/jdk/site/current/lib/security/cacerts -storepass secret_pass

    Is it possible to delete the keystore if it isn’t used anywhere or can I just remove the file?

      Just removing the file is not a good idea better use keytool to delete it.
